What are Satellite Campuses, Offices & Support Centers?

Satellite campuses are physical arrangements of the Open Christian Univeristy or established in collaboration with different partners to provide a hybrid or in-person experience for our local students. Similarly, support centers offer limited in-person support such as students' registration, tech support or exam invigilation but without intensive learning. Campus and learning centers maybe registered or accredited by relevant local government bodies. Our international offices are accessible by our staff and faculty who operate from local structures.

Head Office in South Africa

The Open Christian University is officially registered and has its headquarters in Bethal, Mpumalanga, South Africa. The university has different campuses and learning centers in different places and countries. However, all correspondence with the university, including official documentations, must be issued by our main office in South Africa.

Administrative Office in Rwanda

The University maintains its administrative office in Rwanda from where its founders operate. As an online and distance learning provider, OCU staff and faculty operate from their various countries. The OCU President and Vice-Chancellor are both based in Rwanda with constant support to the OCU team in South Africa, the diverse team of staff and faculty located in different support centers or operating remotely.

Zambia Branch Campus

OCU is incorporated in Zambia as an institution of higher learning through the Patents and Companies Registration Agency (PACRA), under the name of Open Christian University of Business & Theology, with the company registration number 120210023656 and Tax payer ID: 2003944820

The OCU proposed campus is in West Wing, Cairo Road, Lusaka, Lusaka province, Zambia was linsensed to provide activities of higher education and other educational support services per the ISIC classification approved by the Zambian Government.

Learning Center in the DRC

The DRC learning center is located in Goma under our partnership with the International Evangelical Mission in Congo or Mission Evangelique International au Conge (MEIC). The center is coordinated by Rev. Augustin NGUBIRWA, a reputed personality and committed evangelist leading 9 churches located in different territories. All of these facilities are used by our students, getting support of committed women and men of God that serves Him through these churches. Below are the contact details:
