Admissions
Admissions Process
The Open Christian University makes use of a rolling registration; i.e. students can enrol and complete their studies any time of the year.
If you have not already applied, first, review our admissions criteria and determine your eligibility. Once you have decided that you would like to enrol in an OCU program, you may start the application process by clicking the SIGN UP button found at the top of any page on the university website.
Student enrollment happens in a few steps:
To begin studying at Open Christian University, a student must enrol through the OCU website with their email.
Registration occurs when you complete the online Application Form and pay the $25 application fee. Given our reliance on volunteer services, please note that we will not guarantee feedback until you complete the required steps.
The Admissions Director will evaluate your credentials and make a decision on your admission status
An Admission letter will then be offered to you along with your student number and login credentials for the OCU's e-campus (online students) or further guidance on your next steps.
After setting up your student account on the Unversity e-campus, the student may begin the orientation course. This course remains open for the entire duration of the student enrollment to ensure you have access to the university guidelines and resources, with the student advisor always available to answer any questions you may have.
All courses in your program catalog will then be assigned to you. To be eligible for graduation, you must study all the modules in your program catalog which you will find at the bottom left of your student portal.
